Mad Men Monday
I think the best thing in last night’s episode was Peggy’s dress. Aside from the Christmasy color pattern, it was perfectly mid-century mod chic.
A solid color sheath dress with no gingham or plaid? Season 1 Peggy Olson would never wear a dress like that. She (and Megan) is definitely bringing the mod to the offices of SCDP.
Mason jars are one of my favorite items to find at flea markets and vintage shops. They can be used in so many ways and add an instant vintage charm to any space. I found this post featuring 21 Mason Jar Ideas on The New Home Ec blog on Babble. I use mine for collecting change.

March is almost over! We made it through this long month of transition and are now looking forward into beautiful springtime days! I don’t know about you, but I am going to open all of the windows in our apartment and start a full on spring cleaning frenzy this weekend!

I discovered a collection of vintage glass telegraph insulators while thrifting at the Goodwill in Hallandale. These insulators were used to insulate telegraph wires from grounding. They can be found in beautiful colors and can be used to bring vintage charm to your home or office as seen here on Apartment Therapy.
